After All This Time (Week 100)

Monday, June 30, 2025   5:36pm

Hihi yall, buenas noches!! Santos Cangrejos amigos, we're in week one hundred, how crazy is that? Basically the final stretch at this point!

DONT MEAN THE RACE AINT OVER THOUGH, cuz we're still seeing miracles, baybee.
Like first off, we had an awesome lesson with Noah about the Word of Wisdom, the Law of Chastity, and Tithing; usually thats a difficult lesson, but she was very in agreeance with everything and had even brought a journal to take notes in. Que capa, no? We did change her baptismal date to the 13th of July mostly because of her midterms, but still, super ready for her baptism, I'm way excited for her!!

We had a lesson with a Facebook reference we received, the guy's name is Esteban, he's pretty cool, really wants to come to church, didn't come but that's chill. He's a bit on the older side which means that our visits have been mostly him telling us about his life and not understanding me very well, but I'm sure we'll have a cool experience with him this week. Maybe.

The grand finale of the semana was the baptisms of our friends Horacio and Tamara!! Holy shenaiah, I'm so proud of them, the progress that they made in such a short time is incredible, their faith and desires to learn are on a level that barely anybody has and wow, I just love them a ton. I had the privilege of baptizing Tamara and Elder Morán of Horacio, which was so beautiful and the Spirit present was so almost tangible. The members also helped a ton with legit everything, like we didn't even ask them to do half the things they did to help is out, but they did them anyways and yeah, just all around amazing Sunday, glad that I could finally get some people in white before leaving.

And yeah, speaking of which, this is basically my last week in the mission, an idea that I don't think has quite hit me completely yet, but it's happening regardless. I'll probably talk more about this next week, (if I can send an email😬) but I've been thinking back on my mission experience a lot and the growth and change that I've had and also seen in other people, and I can truly testify that those changes have come through the Savior, Jesus Christ. As I've tried to make Him the focus of my teachings, I've realized how I can better follow His example and be better as one of His disciples, which in turn has helped me to help others realize the same. Even though I might be taking the tag off soon, that title of disciple will never leave my heart.

So yeah, just a few days left! I'll try my best to be able to talk to yall next week, but for the moment, this is all from me! Have a great night yall, say your prayers and study your scriptures!!
Ciao for now!
